Art in Action

Fine Art at The Bedford Sixth Form

On Wednesday 9 March Art students at The Bedford Sixth Form visited the UCL Institute of Education to attend a series of exciting and stimulating talks organised by The Training Partnership.

The Training Partnership provide inspirational action days for students studying A-Levels, GCSEs, International Baccalaureate (IB) and BTEC students, including world class speakers, exam tips and thought-provoking presentations.

The students had the opportunity to meet four leading, internationally recognised artists who work in different areas. From ceramic art to textiles and photography the day, chaired by Rebecca Wright, Programme Director of Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, provided variety, innovation and the chance to hear how ideas turn in to works of art.
